Congratulations to you, too. I hope you have plenty of time to get to know each other and become really good friends. A cross-cultural marriage can be a very enriching experience, as I know, but it can also be very hard, too. There is no end of communication struggles, problems with in-laws, identity issues (especially for the children), etc., etc., that people who grew up together in the same place rarely face. You probably won't believe any of this, and neither did I when I was 26 either. Blessings.
